Unlike the conventional premium market, the suppliers are pretty much dominated by non muslims and the list seems to be endless with new players coming into the scene almost every other day. And the market for it is huge!

They are given away to promote a company, corporate image, brand, or event. These items are usually imprinted with a company's name, logo or slogan, and given away at trade shows, conferences, and as part of guerrilla marketing campaigns.

Gifts would be, and still are, given for various reasons including: to welcome, for appreciation, and for celebration. As industry and commerce recognized the benefits that could be gained by a company & corporate organization in giving gifts to existing and prospect customers, promotional merchandise is now used globally to promote brands, products & corporate identity.
